After a rigorous month+ of pre-production, Dave King and I convened at Catherine North Studios in Hamilton this weekend (Mar.24-26). Hard but oh-so-joyous and pleasurable work. 10 songs in 3 days. A focus on drums, vocals, and acoustic guitar in the first round. An effort sustained by javas from Synonym Cafe, the dedicated Catherine North team (thank you Tristan, Emma and Oliver), Stacia's exquisite cooking, Bob's acoustic guitar, and morning light through stained glass.
